Couches and Jobs

I am not too happy with Weber State right now. In fact, I am a bit pissed. Is that a little over the top? Yes. Is it a bit irrational? Definately. Still though, I am not the happiest camper with these Wildcats.

So I came in early with Ashlee because she had to take a math test. Perfect opportunity for me to sell my textbooks. So I asked if I could hitch a ride with her, sell my books, then wait for her in the Land of Couches. Sounds like a plan. I can get money, rest in a comfortable spot, then pay for lunch today. All is well, right?

Wrong.

Oh, so very wrong.

So I am hiking around on campus with my little red backpack resting on my butt, going to the book store with my nutrition bible and a geography book. I go into the bookstore only to be entertained by the employee telling some lame story about some lame song and lame boy. I am definately invisible to her. Not the best worker skills.

Finally, the guy she is telling the story to askes me what I need help with. I tell him I would like to sell my books. She gives me this look like "Oh, you are stupid, you freshman, you," and tells me that they won't buy books today.

What

The

Crap.

I am hoping she is a kind soul and will sympathise enough with me to take my books. Oh no, she will not. She is just looking at me still like I am an idiot. So I had to hike my books to the upper level of the store, which led me to my cousin Jessica. At least she would listen to me whine. She was even kind enough to hold my books for me so I don't have to carry them around. What a kind, kind soul. I really do appreciate that. Love is all around because of that.

Enough about me whining. So, here is the big news for all. I got the nanny job! I found out a week ago and I will be moving out on January fourth. Am I excited? Definately. Nervous. Of course. It will be so good though. I already love the family. I just can't wait.

I will be using this blog to capture all the exciting moments of the next eighteen months of my life so all can see. It is just my little mission. So I hope ya'll will come and see what exciting things are in store for me. Love you all and wish you the best.

Sincere Love.
